Re: Small beetle

I have a small garden and although I am trying to make it more interesting (winter flowers etc). I don't get many new insects. Here is a small beetle that I saw for the first time the other day. Why!

Images create curiosity ending in questions. How can one describe the structure of a butterflies wing! The hair on a caterpillar!
To question is to learn. Only through answers can we know what questions to ask.

Using ToupView software to operate camera and when the countdown for number of images to stack occurs when exactly does the "shutter" snap each image?

My setup, so far.

Progressing nicely in my "setup." Using telescope counter weight as base for horizontal setup and PVC column for vertical. Need to design twin flash holders. Have ring flash not shown. Few more tweaks and tests. ' http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/userpix/812_Macro_set_up_1_1.jpg Background will...

Measuring bellows for magnification purposes.

Between what two points of the bellows and/or lens and camera are measured to figure total extension? Some sites say "film" plane.
My budget required purchasing a bellows and adapters from China for Olympus 4/3rds system.
Thanks.
