We have had one HOT summer here in the NE USA that is for sure. But I am not complaining, I do not like the cold winters. Nice images and beautiful flowers.

Hey Tom. Welcome back. Glad to hear your vacation went well for you. I like the first one the best. Yes, a bit harsh with the light, but the composition is great.

Very nice sequence of images of the bee. I find that bees are not very active in the early morning. Sometimes I can find them still sleeping

I shoot RAW always and use Capture One. It is a great program and has many tools to help bring out your image. Photoshop CS2 raw converted is great as well, but I have been using Capture One for so long it is just automatic.

Nice family photo. I have plenty of missed opportunities for images. There is an open field right out back where I work and dragonflies, BF,s hawks, you name it are there. But I cannot bring my camera to work, so I miss those opportunities everyday. http://www.saalden.com/anapage/posting/paypalthing...

Interesting images. I never seen anything riding on a cat before, or maybe I never looked close enough. It is a hard world out there, even for the smallest of critters.

Thanks Charles for getting things started. I love this flower, but you are right, they do not last long, so you have to get them while you can. Beautiful image.
