Very nice - Squatinella is one of my favourite rotiers. I also find the Syncheata species interesting. Squatinealla looks like it has a helmet-like shield on the front.

Nice photos - I am seeing plenty of these so called "Turtle rotifers" recently in ponds (August, Calgary, AB) and trying to look for different species with shell variations. They look great in DIC, though I find I need to focus stack them. Thanks for sharing.
