Helicon - export full res file
I'm trying out Helicon 7.6.1 and uploaded a number of RAW NEF files. I was expecting to be able to pre-process the RAWS in Adobe Camera Raw before doing a render but this wasn't an option. I then exported a DNG but this was much smaller than than my original 7360 x 4912. The only option I can see to...

This was the final step in a build that has taken 5 years to complete!!! Would have failed if this was did not work. Now I need to get to grips with Bugslabber...

I am triggering the D810 via the ISO 519 sync terminal with an Arduino Mega. The camera is also connected to my laptop via the USB3 port to my laptop with qDSLR Dashboard so that I can record the images to a portable disk connected to the laptop. The problem I have is that I cannot trigger the camer...

Nikon Z6 with and without FTZ adapter
What will be the consequence of using a Nikon Z6 with a Z fit reversing ring when mounted on a microscope or tubes as opposed to using the FTZ adapter and a BR2a reversing ring?
I suppose the option without the adapter will give a wider field of view?

I hope to be able to position my subject I can rotate it and shoot stacks at small changes of angle and then create a video. I have goniomters to be able to position the subject at the centre of a sphere so that it can be moved in two different rotational axes. It seems like good practice to have th...

Rail alignment
I wish to align my rail as best I can. I was wondering whether Zerene could be used to calculate the offset misalignment by taking an image and then moving the camera and taking another image.
