I believe that although crab spiders(Thomisidae) dont build webs as such they still produce silk, as do all spiders.

Yes Photoshop elements has a neat 'color cast' setting which is easy to use. Its found in Enhance>Color>Color Cast.

Thanks Ken , I knew the magnification would work out but I seemed to remember reading somewhere that one should work via a 10x objective and a 4x eyepiece I have a 5x eyepiece but its very narrow field, at least with the 10 12.5 and 40x objectives., but combining that with the 4X objecrtive would gi...

Need opinion on this objective please.

I found this on Ebay and its going pretty cheap. Its a Reichert Microscope objective marked 4x /0.10 160/- It has just over 3 days left and is curently at £2.20! Would I be OK combining a 4X objective with a 10X eyepiece to get 40X, or should it be the other way round? (Low power eyepiece/higher pow...

Ive been putting my images up on my webiste, and I used this sites logo to kinda spread the word!
(Actually I have an ulterior motive; I needed to lower a pic to balance things up and this logo was just the right size! :wink: )
