Looks pretty good. It's always nice to come out on top when you roll the dice. Thanks for the info & for posting your results.

Interesting shot. Being able to view "Bigger" is a pleasure. I like zooming in to enjoy fine detail. Thanks.

Super stack. Wish I could enjoy the stereo. They are hard to live stack. Seems they like to wiggle their antenna. Well done.

I guess I'm asking the wrong group? I'm sorry if I came uninvited. Is there another forum out there that might have people how can talk directly towards the question of field shooting with greater than 1:1 goals? Thanks, ---Michael Chill out & be patient. High magnification "Field" shooting is an e...

The detail in your images is outstanding! I keep trying to duplicate your style with little success but I do keep trying. I for one hope you reconsider.

Well now... I was (I am) proud of this stack, which is to me one of the best I made so far in terms of lighting, detail and composition. I think it deserves at least one comment, even if mine :( On a more serious note, I will think twice before posting another photo on here. All the best!...

Like all of Zerene Stacker's dialogs, the window containing the contrast threshold slider can be resized by dragging any of its edges or corners. I suspect that if you just drag the bottom down, the OK button will appear. But for now you'll have to do that every time, because the size and location ...

I am taking bits and bobs of everything really- for smaller stuff, I wanted higher magnifications to see some actual body parts, because I think a lot of the time the keys used are asking for details on wasps so tiny that at 75x I can barely make out, let alone judge! Antennae will usually be OK, b...

Thanks for the quick reply & the information. For the price, it't too much of a gamble. I thought it might be telecentric. I already have the 5X & 10X Nikon MM. When my skill level improves I may consider upgrading. Thanks again.

E Leitz Leica Objective 1X

Does anyone have any information on this objective? Would it be useful on a bellows. Add states a WD of 4 inches but little else. NA is not listed. Thanks in advance for your help.

Can you post a link to the bits that I'd need by any chance? I've found some dual flash units with a controller but it appears to be a hotshoe controller. EDIT: when I say that I mean the yongnuo modules, not another brand. I'm using two janjso lights with the current set up. It is clearly not stab...

So would I only need one, and how would I get that in the right place? And would it work on a Sony a6000? I was opting for the Venus because I wasn't sure if the LED one would be powerful enough, and because the modules are on long flexi arms to move around and control the light better. Macro work ...

DON"T grab the hacksaw yet. There are adapters to accomplish the exact tube length you need. Is the silver tube threaded on both ends? If so, while waiting for the professionals to reply, measure the diameter of the threads on the silver tube & parts of the black camera adapter. Help is on the way.

Maybe it would be better to state my purpose? I am wanting higher resolution for parasitic wasps that I mostly image. For the stuff I image it ranges between 3 and less than 1mm, and I find the 10x is not producing enough detail for body parts etc, for the smaller stuff. I guess my wonder is if a 2...
