That was pre-seasoning. I didn't use any butter though... not in the family recipe. :D Oyster sauce, onion, a few other herbs, spices and everything nice. :D

I must apologise for my poor attempt at humour.

I really like spiders and I think they're fascinating but even I think they have no place inside my home. Their place is outside.

Thanks for looking Aynia. :D

Unknown. Perhaps a long jawed spider? Looks long enough to me. Love the predation in the last image. I've also seen that crab spider in the second image, man that fella was fearless. Most other spiders would've run away but it stood its ground.

Thanks for the comments guys!!

Betty, I did use a drop honey to bait them. They're very active so instead of waiting for something to occupy their attention, I just use some honey and save myself some time.

They look like flattened clam shells don't they? And indeed rather pretty in their formation.

It's hard to find fungus here, being so dry and all.

I want one of these!! All I ever found were the female rhino beetles. :(

For some reason, these pics reminds me of a showroom car pics. I think it's the lighting and the car paint like sheen on the beetle. Great job!!

Reina de la noche / Queen of the night

I guess this is more close-up than macro. Let me know if it's not a suitable subject here. Hylocereus undatus, the plant grows (each) flower once a year only at night for one night only. I got the feeling people here know a LOT more about it than I do though. :D Full size, http://farm4.static.flickr...
