I guess this is the reversed 105 5.6 0,33x configuration comparing to the 105 4.0 3x? Whats the camera modell? Pixelsize and image circle? Looks not so bad to me. Highlights have a lot of flare. Could be ev. reduced by some lens shading. WD is 34mm for the 105 4.0, wich is surprisingly few for a 105...

CA curve is looking the same but mtf is quite better for the inspec. Or am I mistaking? The test/sim conditions are different between the two, so can't make apples-apples compo very easily. I'm aware of this, but I was surprised by the similarity of the CA curve of the linos float and the HR Digaro...

The switar and the hr digaron is for shure the same, as in the switar datasheet its named hr digaron ;-) I'm not shure for the Linos Inspec 105 float. I'm a newbie in looking at mtf, CA curve is looking the same but mtf is quite better for the inspec. Or am I mistaking? http://www.photomacrography.n...

Ha, good finding, that this is the same lens! I asked already once about the fixed lens. Here is Roberts quote: I owned a Inspec.x 5.6/105 0.33 - 3x version for a few weeks before returning it to the seller. Pros: Clean image, no CAs at all Excellent fit and finish M43 x 0.75 threads on both sides B...

Warning: Don't use Laserpointers on your camera!
Somewhere on this forum I read about using laser crossline beamer TTL to align and focus objects. The system is to light with a cheap China crossline laser (5mW) in to the eyepiece of the camera. The laser beam will go trough the lens and so help to align specimen and find focalpoint. So I machined ...

It's a C-mount lens, so the FOV wouldn't work unless you reversed the one on the camera - then you wouldn't get 1:1 unless you focused on the aerial image, which isn't the same optical setup. Sorry, I don't understand your quote. What's FOV? Edit: Googled the spec of the lens, image circle is 11mm....

What's the front lens for these? rearlens is always the HR Digaron, frontlens is mentionned above the image. For the last one it's Rodagon 80mm f/4.0. Did some more testing today: Frontlens Schneider Componon-S 150mm 5.6 http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/userpix/2798_stackedlens_digaron_cpn_s_1...

Hi there, sunday morning and the kids are away for skiing, so it's lenstesting time! I assumed you tried f4 nominal? Was f5.6 better? I did, the difference was not huge, but 5.6 was better. Today I testet the 4.8 and its not possible to see any difference to 5.6 My testing with the HR Digaron as TL ...

Some questions: Did you get mag 1x finaly with 80mm rear + 80mm front? Wouldnt it be possible to use 200mm rear + 200mm front to get the same mag? Edit: Did some lens testing this morning. 210+180TL =mag 0.8, 150+180TL=1.2 Seems like the equation of: focal length frontlens / focal length rearlens=ma...
