Are you sure the shutter is in the open "time" position when you're installing the blades? The extra one just goes on top of the last one installed for spacing thickness

What's happened is somebody had tightened the Allen bolt to the extreme. The mechanism has a female dovetail. It's dug into the soft male dovetail of the aluminum focusing part. Hammers are excellent for denting bearing races. Use a heat gun on that silver oblong thingy and or an eye dropper with penetrating oil. The. Try to rock the stage mount side to side with your hands. No hammers.
Somebody over tightened the Allen bolt jamming that small silver dovetail clamp.

The top mechanism in your photo is the slow speed escapement with tiny gears. It removes as a unit with 2 small flatblade screws on either side. Soak it in acetone while actuating it's lever and then blow dry. If that doesn't restore the speeds, it may be too worn. I wouldn't oil it as oil spreads. ...
