Went down that route a few years ago repairing Iris Blades,
iff memory serves me took over 5 hours. never again. regards

thanks for reply, did wonder about the bearing, glad that there is only one.
I am going to make some new darkfield stops for the vacant annuli.
might have to go looking for some spare annuli rings.

thought i would put in a 8mm, 9mm and a 10mm disk just for testing?.

refurbishment Zeiss Abbe condenser

wondered if there are any links? to refurb a Zeiss condenser

have acquired another condenser that i would like to make new dark field stops and insert a special Rhine berg stop for this one.

thought i might ask before i open the spare one

model no 4891351 phase condenser.

Ref the Zeiss x63. dry objective.
I use a Plan 63/0.90 that has a correction collar.
Zeiss universal scope,
lens has 4075175 Germany and 160/0.11-0.23 on the lens.
Speaking personally i have always found it first class.
Resolves Klaus Kemps test slide even with the x2optovar.

From what i can see, you have a full DIC turret with the dic sliders, pol insert?
Advice, - hold on to all the pieces and look for a Universal Zeiss stand.

amended as i had not noticed date of first post. my advice would have been to purchase a 5in, 125mm. contour shape profile gauge, the all metal pins and holder ones are best, around 7-8$ at last purchase. always work for myself when angles diameter and depth are needed. hope you got sorted anyhow. g...
