Hi there people.. I see a lot of people use microscope objectives on an DSLR. I think the distance to the specimen will be short. Is there any website or a table that can give me the magnification and distance to the specimen ? Like what magnification will I obtain with i.e 4x objective ? And what a...

Hi there,
When going from 15W to 30W you double the cuurent. If there is a dimmer on your microscope, the current will be to high and will probably burn out the dimmer. Stay with the 6V 15W bulb, thats my advice.

Ascorbic acid and tartaric acid

Image

This is a mix of ascorbic acid and tartaric acid. They are diluted in water.
Magnification is 60x and it´s a single shot.

Try some crystals in polarized light.
Ascorbic Acid dissolved in water... Makes great images.
You can buy the Ascorbic Acid in any pharmacy I guess.
