Yousef, you are stuggling along with 8GB of RAM?? Ram is cheap, man! Anyone who has seen your images knows that some of them are priceless. Are we missing out on seeing more of your work, for want of a little RAM? Oh, the loss to humanity! :D Well, the cost wasn't the issue here. Actually, I happen...

Hi Dave, Maybe a better question for me to have asked would have been do I have enough computer to handle 36MP files stacked, or stitched panoramas Very good question.. based on your desktop specs, I believe you're on the safe side for such kinds of operations & processing.. I believe with such spec...

FrancisCC, welcome aboard! Do you have specific information about forgeries, that is, objectives that say "Mitutoyo" or "Nikon" but actually are not? Or are you talking about objectives that more or less imitate the appearance and specs, but do not misrepresent the brand name? --Rik I recall seeing...

Thanks Fred.. you always encourage me with your kind words. The lighting is my usual method.. 2 flashes and a piece(s) of papers to defuse the lights. Although I do own Mitu5X, I keep prefering the JML over.. well I believe both have advantages & disadvantages after all. As for the weevil shot, I di...

Thank you guys for your inputs & cheerful words. @Pau During my visit to Spain, Javier (Seta666) told me how palms were effected by this pest. Since I wasn't aware about this pest, it surprised me to know that it was globally spread! Here in my place it's a bit controlled.. that's why it took me abo...

I managed to do few stacking for most of this weevil parts.. unfortunately, haven't got enough time to process with the ...

Hi Miljenko, This looks like a well build setup.. I do like how portable it is due to its size. I just have two concerns & both are related with your Sigma 150mm mount.. - Is the system well balanced while the rail is fully extended? To me, I think the camera side might be a little over weighted. - ...
