To me.. I was hoping to be able to use the EFCS with the "Delay Mode".. it's a showstopper for me!

Hope Nikon will release a firmware update to enable it with the DM.. i'm skipping the cam for now

Interesting subject & over all the image looks so great.

BTW, I thought Canon cams wouldn't trigger the flash if the silent mode option is activated?

Rik, The golden stack is absolutely beautiful.. love it! I remember Nikola has done some stacking at 50X.. & the result looks superb to me. https://www.flickr.com/photos/eurythyrea/6283992295/in/set-72157624779567224 Now I think about it, I really doubt that I can get such sharpness at 20X with my N...

Re: New Nikon D810 body to have EFSC

Although I'm so excited hearing that finally it has the EFCS.. I won't have my hopes high until I see how does it operate in a real world!
I wish if I can get one in my hands soon to do some tests & to see if it is worth to upgrade from my current D800E!

Finally!! Someone succeed using the MP-E65 on a Nikon body! Well done Michael :D I did some tests in order to see if my D800E would adapt the MP-E65 with no success. Although I sold my Canon body, I kept the MP-E65 so I can use it with my Sony Nex camera -Haven't bought Nex-Canon adapter with apertu...

Very interesting camera!! I would love to see how it will perform in this field :D

The good news is, it's opening a new door for the "built-in stacking feature" in the new released cameras.. let's see what we'll get next :)

Johan, The results looks so good in my opinion.. there were a few species which didn't last long to do enough shooting due to the eye dryness. I hope I can learn & practice this method although I'm not really sure if i'll be able to find the materials here! Thanks for sharing this with us.. apprecia...

I tried using an objective on my Nikon 70-200 F4 but got a strong huge vignette.. is this normal?
I'm using a FF cam.. but even though with a crop sensor body I'm getting almost the same results!

I am curious if the Nex bodies will provide a flash signal without resorting to the mechanical first shutter curtain (as is the case with flash on Canon EFSC bodies). Any idea if this is so? Apology to raise this topic up again, I believe by now you & everyone else has got the answer already.. but ...
