Hi,
In order to get polarized light trough a microscope, the filter must be linear polarizer. He says "almost black". To get polarized it must be black.

Hi, I use the Amscope T230A and in this shot I used an 10x Plan objective. I also use a third part camera adapter with my Canon 7D. The polarizer filter I´ve used is Linear Pola from Hoya. As I´ve learned C-Vitamin is the same as Acidum Ascorbicum. This was bought in the local pharmacy and dissolved in the ratio 1:50 with water. I put one drop on the microscope slide and waited for about one day for the crystals to form. Water evaporates and the crystals remain on the slide. The most ...

This is my result from a weekend of experimenting. This is a single shot, no stacking. Magnification is about 150x. Canon Eos 7D.

Hi there Craig,
This looks better than the NeatImage. I think I will try the Topaz Labs DeNoiser. I took a quick look at Topaz´s website and it looks very good. Even restoring details :shock:
