I am impressed

Hi gang, Must say I am impressed by Zerene Stacker. Until recent I've been using EOS 7D and EOS 5D Mk II for stacking. Worked just fine. No problems at all. A month ago I bought a secondhand EOS 5Ds R. It's a great camera, some would say overkill for sure, but I went for it. It's a dream to work wit...

Hi Geopressure,
Love micro minerals...

They are fascinating and a joy to photograph.
Light is the big challenge with all the reflections.

Going to do some next week I think.

Keep those images coming and thanks for sharing :D

Hi, Thanks for your time and great tips. I will check them out Another important question- what size sensor? It will be a FF sensor on my EOS 5D II The MPLAN ELWD 40x 0.50 in particular has slightly more than 10 mm working distance, so illumination of the subject is easier. This is very interesting....

I am going to use it on a trinocular bio microscope from AmScope to photograph, so I guess direct projection

Was hoping to get 2mm WD.
NA not critical and finite I think.

I am not good in these terms.

Shall use it to photograph micro minerals

Any recommendations for a good 40x objective LWD with RMS threads that doesn't cost an arm?

Hi Sumguy01,

I buy my L-Glutamine and Beta-Alanine at workout shops. Buy them separately. They have them as 500g powder. It's a fitness supplement.

I have also seen it on eBay....
