Thanks for your kind explanation Brian. Some similar one are digging holes in the sand near a beach in the french's south. Unfortunately i am afraid not being in position shotting them as you do, plus I don't have a macro lens. Your pictures looks so real that i would not be suprised if it jump out ...

JML received :) I will start the test soon. I guess "universal" test can't work as Rik suggest it: there are too much parameters. Even with the same test / subject / lens / setup / camera/ camera's parameters....the lighting (or vibrations or....) , may change the result. Well... any subjections ? P...
