Check the position of the prism position push-pull control rod on the right side of the head. It has three positions, one is all image light to the eyepieces, one is split eyepieces and trinocular port, the last is trinocular port only. You're probably on eyepieces only.

I'm considering getting a motorized stage and joy stick and am curious to know how sensitive and smooth I can expect one to be in panning. I'm pretty sure I have a Photomicro Adapter L I can part with. It will be late tomorrow or Friday before I know for sure. It should be at my lab and I won't get back there until then. I don't want to tell you I have it for sure, until I have it in my hand! How about half what the other one is listed...

I don't think they're compatible, but I've never actually checked. I have a BX-40 and BH-2s, so I can check tomorrow. I can check a 3D part too, if you'd like.

SPlans are the proper objectives for DIC on the BH-2. That's what I use on mine. Try your SplanApo 100x before you buy a replacement. I also have an SPlanApo 20x that seems to work fine as well.
