Hi the specs were as follows: Canon 5D mk4 100mm L macro lens. First image was 8 frames F11 1/160th and 200 iso. Second image: 10 frames F11 1/160th 200 iso Third image: 8 frames 1/160th F14 200 iso Time for each stack around 10-15 seconds. Spider has a body size of about 12mm. Hope the above helps ...

Hi Lou The grain has actually reduced during the stacking process. The ISO was rediculously high at 8000 but the light in the bush was very low and I wanted a natural light stack. The stack was achieved by fixing focus on the part of the fly closest to the lens and then moving the camera forward a fraction before taking the next frame. Once the furthest point has been captured, the stack set is complete. All images then combined in Zerene and retouched as needed.
