All the M42 Novoflex bellows I have come across allow full rotation of the camera, 360-deg, for mounting. Once mounted, some are fixed, some allow 90-deg rotation, and some allow full rotation. Just depends on the model, but for M42 mounts they must give a full rotation capability for mounting sinc...

Coincidentally I had just spent the past few days searching for a bellows as well. I also settled on the Pentax Auto Bellows, which i got in near-new condition for 60GBP. I considered the Pentax Bellows II (late model) as well but it's a bit smaller than the Auto Bellows and I'd prefer the longer le...

Had my eye on these earlier as well and can't turn it down at this price! Hopefully will work better than my Raynox 250 for infinity objectives given the longer FL.

Looks to be a fair amount cheaper on TaoBao as well!

Though I've come across some listings that have a low price and then in the description the seller indicates the price is much higher.

Congrats on getting it working! Was it a hardware or software issue in the end that got them to co-operate? On Arduino I hadn't had a hard time getting them to step by just sending HIGH/LOW signals to the STEP and DIR pins but implementing all the additional features is what seems to be the tricky p...

That's exactly it, one of those Adafruit log-scale light sensors.

I am not sure you need to tap into the circuit because you have the LED, just use a photo-sensor, an OP-AMP and then fine tune the gain to get a logic high (or low) when the LED is fully lit. Just glue the photo-sensor onto the LED with blackened material (black hot glue) Yeah so I'm currently moun...

My programming skills are limited to Python, and know very little about C. My attempts with the Trinimac 5130, 5160 and 5161 were already limited by my lack of ability, and thus were not successful. Would be nice if someone with better C skills would tackle these controllers Have you tried your han...

Awesome work! I'm particularly envious of the speeds you're able to achieve. I haven't had a chance yet to play around with the Trinimac drivers yet but will let you know when I get them fully working. At the moment I'm wasting most of my time trying to work out how to monitor my flash recycle time...

You made me realize I had deleted my search On that note, I assume saved eBay searches are considered to be private affairs that don't get shared around here? At least that's my thinking considering it's what gives one member the edge over another in finding a bargain. Picked it up thinking it woul...

That one has been on my watch list for a very long time. Have never seen one for sale.
Only €1500 and from Prague!

I was looking at that lens, the price is ok, but that damage scared me away. Looks like someone dropped it and tried to 'fix' it. Hope the Bogen is a decent performer, give us a short report after you test it, ok? Yeah exactly, the ding on the filter thread doesn't bode well. I was thinking of offe...

Thanks for the info and links. The 60/4 looks interesting. I'd bet it could do well at 2:1 reversed on a 120mm, operating at f8 effective. I've just picked up a Bogen 4/60 on eBay in New Old Stock condition, but it's got to make it's way here from the States first. There's a Osawa 4/60 (as mentione...

Someone's picked up the third one too!

I may have done it myself if available but it's always a bit of a pain getting it shipping to Europe.

You guys are lucky it has some threads. Though I must try my one reversed at some point as well.

You guys were right! Mounting the lens with the dot towards the sensor gave much better results. I haven't bothered with crops etc but if you would like to see them I can post them. The short of it is that the SNED in this configuration performed significantly better than the Polaroid at both 1.3x a...
