Re: S21 ultra: 108mp in RAW
Hello JoeD,
do you happen to know if gcam allows you to save the images from the 108mp camera in DNG?
If not, then I would save myself the extremely tedious installation of gcam.
Best,
ADi

Re: Is it some kind of microscope?
Hello Viktor j nilsson,
No particular brand of microscope is required.
Then it seems that this one made by ADi can be accepted :-)
Best, ADi
I think so too.I still think that it would be perfectly fine to submit images taken with the rig above, though.

Yes, a magnifying glass is used as an eyepiece, namely this one:Sure, though if it doesn't have a viewing eyepiece it's a fancy digital microscope.

Is it some kind of microscope?
Hello everybody, I would like to ask you whether this "thing" can pass as a microscope in the general sense: M_TPnd_WS1200_TPc_SC1024_Q87.jpg 1.) microscope - objective 2.) tube - lens 3.) eye - piece 4.) object - table 5.) cross - table 6.) condenser 7.) fine - drive 8.) filter - holder 9.) photo –...

Re: S21 ultra: 108mp in RAW
Hi Rik,
Nice comparison, many thanks!
I could imagine that the advantage could be greater if the chip were bigger.
But then the lens would also have to be bigger.
Perhaps as an attachment on a smartphone.

Re: S21 ultra: 108mp in RAW
Hi Rik,
Not bad, but I would say that there could be more potential in the RAW files.

yes, probably not a bug but a feature :-)there must be some difference between what Flickr will offer to Adi as owner of the album

Re: B&W
Hello Lou,
I used two methods:
1.) control layer → black/white
(sometimes reduce saturation and increase the brightness before)
2.) channel calculations
red
green
soft light
new document
mode → grey filter
And finally tone correction.
