Hoffman Modulation

Can any one help with instructions for making slit mask for hoff mod.
picked up a couple of objectives, but web instructions seem to be getting very complicated.

Reminds me of an Alien Code message that we can not yet read.

I do find that the background distracts a little, the I go back to it and seems appropriate for the subjects.

What i am saying is nice shots, lighting could do with more work, overall i like it.

Paul great shots detail and info on silverfish, did not have knowledge of that one.

lovely shot, love the lighting, just a query? any chance of the background changed to white and posting the resultant photo, for comparison.

Any chance that you could highlight the pair of mating leaf-mimicking katydids (Typophyllum sp.) melting into the surrounding leaf litter.

I cannot make them out?

The black and white shades are more depth and detail, lovely shots.
