Not you again

Hi there, This is from a fieldtrip last year at one of my favourite locations. There are a lot of insects there in all variations. Love this place. And now we are in the begining of the season here in Norway. All natural light, no flash. [/img] http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/userpix/1679_PMG_...

Hi there Rogelio,
Thanks for the comment.
This is the vitamin C in powder form purchased at the pharmacy. It's 1:50 solution with water. I was hoping to get another crystals from this, but my powder is a bit out of date. I will buy some new ones and see what I can get.

Some Crystals

Hi there, Home-grown crystals photographed in cross-polarized light. These are single shots, no stacking. I used an 10x Plan for this so I think the magnification should be arround 120-150x. Shot with my Canon EOS 7D. Only some minor adjustments in curves in PS. http://www.photomacrography.net/forum...

I have one objective that I bought earlier. This says "Plan 10/0,25 160/0,17
The one I used with this image says 4/0,1 160/0,17
I think I will invest in a better 4x objective later.
The Plan objective is the best ??

Hi there Rik,
This is the basic objectives supported with the scope. I think I will buy some better one later. Need to learn more about the basics of microscope imaging first.
Here is the crop:

Hi,
Yes this is with the Amscope T230A. The objective I used is the standard 4x that came with the scope..

Hi Pau,
Thank you for your quick reply..
I think I will go for the dry one. The oil condenser sounded a bit complicated to me :P
