I'm not sure IF this link is related to the piece of equipment I have. https://www.buehler.com/metallographic-etching.php http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/userpix/153_20200521_105429_1.jpg http://www.photomacrog...

Robert Otoole originally sent it to me. Sure would be nice to have the money and skill set to play with things like this.

Had another bloom this morning. IF you're capable of doing the stereo cross-eye technique, this turned out really well. I also generated a parallel view. Links to a larger image are both shown below. I also tried a Black and White Infrared image using an old Nikon D70S that was converted to Infrared...

Like I said, just curious. When I was researching off-grid 'stuff' for my home in the mountains I read about atmospheric water generators and DIY water distillation systems.

Excellent image Saul. Stereo pair turned out very nice as well. I like the shadows in the shell pores, gives it a 3D look. Just to experiment, you should try inverting the image in PS. One of mine turned out interesting.

Well Chris asked me if I ever made one of these to post it, so here it is. I went a little different route and made mine battery operated. I have plenty of plugs in my wall socket as it is. This didn't require any tools whatsoever and seems to work fine to me, although I don't know what I'd ...

Did you go to Noopy's site? I've photographed some of these but didn't realized they could be powered after upcapping. I'm not electronic savvy.
