Excellent image Saul. Stereo pair turned out very nice as well. I like the shadows in the shell pores, gives it a 3D look. Just to experiment, you should try inverting the image in PS. One of mine turned out interesting.

Impressive as always. Very interesting to me because I've been experimenting making landscape stereo pairs for a couple of weeks now. It never entered my mind to generate one with a microscope (meaning that TYPE of Diatom arrangement).

Well Chris asked me if I ever made one of these to post it, so here it is. I went a little different route and made mine battery operated. I have plenty of plugs in my wall socket as it is. This didn't require any tools whatsoever and seems to work fine to me, although I don't know what I'd ...

Did you go to Noopy's site? I've photographed some of these but didn't realized they could be powered after upcapping. I'm not electronic savvy.

Hibiscus - Stereo pair

Nothing amazing, just thought it was pretty. Camera is a 8 year old Panasonic GH3 with a Lumix G Vario 14-140 f/4.0 lens. Probably should of fixed it a little in PS.

Looks like I need to learn how to read. 8) Maybe the USB 3 port.

I'd wager it's the card reader.

Nice work. :) The subject kind of resembles 3M micropore tape. Here's my personal project. Since I come from the semiconductor background some of my friends asked me to photography N95 mask and the surgical type mask they are given by 3rd party contractors. I also photographed a clean room gown mat...

In case you want to do this without reflected light: You might try to cut a small piece out of the mask, mount it in e.g. euparal and observe it with a low power immersion lens, e.g. 10x/0.45 and try darkfield. Me again, Is this the correct mountant? It's all I've found so far in the USA. https://w...
