Why 2s is wrong ?
My optimal exposure time is 4-5s (I know, that lot of guys are using even longer exposure), even at high magnification.

Also, thanks for the tutorial link. I had no problem seeing the cross-eyed 3D image in the 2nd video. But try as I might, it still doesn't work with forum images...

I can't make these stereo images pop no matter how long I stare at them, so I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at. Did this poor guy lose its head? Maybe not ideal but there are 32mm ID fiber optic ring lights that slip onto the outside of an m plan apo. I have one but haven't really tried it out yet. I've had good luck with a couple types of small diameter LED ringlights on various objectives, mostly for coins but some have been very close to...
