Re: MycoCam5 any users please?

Well tried Lou's suggestion tonight and nope the grab button doesn't do anything, no screen grab or whatever so the mystery continues :?: .
I like to try different apps for whatever hobby I'm into so for now I'll stick with Altami studio which is working great so thanks guys!.

Re: MycoCam5 any users please?

So it might be a bit tricky to find someone to ask if it's a serious software issue. Yes I understand that sadly Richard had passed away. I don't think my enquiry could be described as a ' serious software issue' more likely me not understanding how to use the software even though I read and reread...

Re: Another illumination comparison!

Sorry John just noticed your reply. The pseudo method I use was suggested by a guy on the Amateur Microscope Facebook page. The idea is to put some clear tape on a cover slip and place this on the condenser, put the microscope into dark field (by whatever method you use) and tweak the condenser heig...

Illumination comparison!

Hi guys
New to the forum. Been trying out some different forms of illumination with my Leitz Laborlux S microscope. I've become interested in growing crystals from different chemicals.
Oxalic acid with some Rochelle salt mixture
Psuedo-DIC attempt - an idea from another forum.

Cheers
Steve
