Thanks Robert for your information on the 240mm lens.
Is there nobody who uses the 150mm or 210mm type among the forums members? Many recordings made by Andrea Hallgass were made with it.

Apo Gerogon Tublens
Hello my friends, is there anyone who has done a tubelens comparison test between Apo Gerogon 150mm and 210mm against the thorlabs ITL200 or the Raynox DCR150/250 with Mitutoyo 5x/10x.
I would also like to know what you think of the Apo Gerogon 240mm.

Re: Excellent Deal on Precision 1mm Pitch Rails - NIB @ $60
Hi Ray, did your missing rails arrive? They were as described. My parts have been shipped according to Ebay. No information or answers to queries from the seller. I received a PayPal refund from the seller about 25% of the price.
I'm curious what I get, at least he doesn't offer any more on Ebay.

Re: Excellent Deal on Precision 1mm Pitch Rails - NIB @ $60
Hi Ray, I bought the other rails. I asked the seller if he could send me the rails to Europe but he refused. I then gave him an address from a friend in Florida. On the Ebay invoice the shipping was stated as 59.97, so I contacted him it would only be a package. Answer from him he would change it. H...

Re: Questions about linear rail drive gear
Hello friend, Many thanks to all of you, I have learned a lot, but what the philosopher's stone really is (best solution) is still unclear to me  . So that I can really sleep peacefully, I will probably have to test all versions of belts, gears and direct drives. When I have found out more de...

Hello Adalbert,
your emoji description is absolutely great. It would be great to introduce it as a forum standard for describing the recording process. Your posts in the forum are a great enrichment. Thanks very much

Questions about linear rail drive gear
Hello friends, I have a question about the drive of linear units. Does the use of planetary gears make sense. The positioning accuracy should have advantages at high scales. Next question: a toothed belt drive has disadvantages compared to a direct drive. With a toothed belt, I could gain a lot of s...

Re: Mitutoyo QV 3d Usage
Thanks for your information. The lenses should do their job in an insect scanner. Is the telecentric effect affected by a longer tube lens? I would like to create similar 3d models as the DISC3D does and construct a device myself. The Telezentic is important that you can measure the insects https://...

Mitutoyo QV 3d Usage
Hello, I have an application I would like to record insects in 3D on APS-C and would use telecentric lenses. Is there anyone who can give me information about the quality of the Mitutoyo QV 1x, 2.5x and 5x lenses? Unfortunately, there is little information on the internet about these lenses. Is the ...
