Re: Diatom arrangment

Hi,
thanks a lot for the praise! @Macro_Cosmos you are right. It is from Newport Beach, CA :). For me one of the greatest localities there is, probably only beaten by Oamaru... (Though I have yet to get material from there...)
Happy new year to you all!

Diatom arrangment

Hi, I thought I would show you one of my recent diatom arrangements over here as well :). This one was was a real challenge for me and took ca. 100 h for selection, arrangemwent, embeding etc. . Hi, the SSL issue should be resolved now. The website has a new certificate. Can you see the images now? Thanks also for the praise on the images. :) I indeed prepare my slides without a micromanipulator. At the moment I am not selling any slides but I might in the future. I will also think about si...

diatom arrangement - Dunkirk, MD

Hi, I recently started arranging diatoms. This is an arrangement with material from Dunkirk, MD I made a few weeks ago. With this one I am quite happy, even though there still are some minor problems... I also gravely underestimated the number of shells it takes to fill a circle with 1.5 mm diameter...

Hi,
thanks for the praise!

@ Lou I agree with you, I like the first two more as well. On my small laptop screen the last one looks ok as well, but if you use a bigger screen it does seem a bit less sharp.
Best,
Jan
