Rik has already provided you with comprehensive information on the adapters. Besides the cone shaped RMS to M42 adapter, there's also a flat one from the same, well known and trusted seller: ebay 200470968028 or http://www.ebay.com/itm/RMS-Thread-to-M42-Adapter-for-microscope-objective-flat-/200470...

First, read http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12147 . It is a long article, 4 pages total, but there is a lot of good information in it. The BD Plan 10/0.25 210/0 just needs extension, no other lenses. So, all you need are mechanical screw thread adapters. That objective has a b...

Adapter for Nikon objective to Nikon body /bellows.
Hi everyone I ask for your help. I’m going to buy a Nikon BD plan 10x 0.25 objective. I’m a bit confused as to which adapters I will need to use with this lens. I intend to use it on a Nikon d300s body and BD 6 bellows. Do I have to screw it to the end of my macro lens (Nikon D60)? Or reversed macro...

Mellinus arvensis.
On the river bank near my home there lives a large colony of the wasps Mellinus arvensis. They rest and hunt amongst the Japanese Balsam that lines most of the river bank. In the summer months I often visit this area taking my camera and macro lens. I found myself fascinated and spent more time watc...

If it's not a burying beetle do you know what it is? Believe that's in the name he listed: "Picnic Beetle ( Glischrochilus fasciatus )". If you do a Google search on bugguide Glischrochilus fasciatus you'll find that it pops up under several different common names. It's in the "Sap-feeding Beetles"...
