Perhaps there is a server cache or something else that does not update immediately.
Your server issues only a "Last-Modified" header which might not trigger a cache validation in all situations. Try to add an "ETag" or simply no-cache and related cache headers.

Re: Canon EOS RP + Sigma 150mm Macro + Nikon CFI Plan 10x

.. does the change in magnification cause some problems when stitching the frames together? I haven't tested the full range 0.38m .. inf, as I never needed it. This could probably be tested with any other lens. The range 0.52m .. inf does not appear to create problems with Zerene, Helicon, nor Adob...

Here is an example to demonstrate sensor coverage.

3 types of sugar: Top: Jaggery. Right: Raw sugar. Bottom 3: refined white sugar.

EOS RP + Sigma 150mm + Nikon CFI Plan Achromat 10x.
Sigma at f/2.8.
Full frame image (6240x4160). Stacked, sharpened, scaled to conform to forum rules.

..what is the max stack depth in mm you can achieve with the 150mm macro lens together with the 10x lens.
I created a new thread to avoid polluting this one or the OP's unrelated question.

Canon EOS RP + Sigma 150mm Macro + Nikon CFI Plan 10x

I use and quite enjoy this combination as my hobby setup and thought I share some details to also cover a couple of questions people raised. * Canon EOS RP. Full frame, 26 MP (6,240 x 4,160), 5.76 µm/px, built-in focus stacking. * Sigma 150mm 1:2.8 APO EX DG HSM Macro. * Nikon CFI Plan Achromat 10x ...

Re: Can I push the resolution of a 1:1 macro lens?

But I'm really interested in your experience with the EOS RP as that is the camera I'm considering. When you talk about stacking, can you use the RPs internal focus bracketing with the Sigma lens? That would amazing. I'm very happy with the RP. * Stacking works just fine with the Sigma 150mm, as we...

Re: Can I push the resolution of a 1:1 macro lens?

My questions: Would I be able to see a little more detail resolved if I a) Pushed this lens past 1:1 with extension tubes or a teleconverter? How quickly would I reach empty magnification? b) Chose a camera with a smaller pixel pitch? How many megapixels would I need on a FF sensor to make full use...

Not sure what you mean with "not supported". It works in all usage scenarios I have thrown at it so far and it's pin sharp.

* Sigma 150mm 1:2.8 APO MACRO DG HSM

Bought quite a number of years ago.

After my last update I can see a focus stack option in its menu but it doesn't work with the files generated with my 7D Not sure if my previous comment actually answered the second part of your question. If you're talking about creating stacks: You can't use EOS Utility 3 to create a stack with cam...

Pau wrote:Thomas, have you tried to process the stack with Canon DPP?
Briefly only a while back.

I can't formally judge its performance but think Zerene and Helicon likely give better results. Didn't spend much time on it. Not sure why your image source (7D) would be relevant.

Re: Canon EOS RP Focus Stacking

Does that mean it works with EOS Utility? Yes. * Canon EOS RP > USB cable > Windows 10 > EOS Utility 3 Use: * Go to EOS Utillity 3 > Remote Shooting * Set Focus bracketing = Enable * Number of Shots = xx (shots for your stack) * Focus increment = xx (focus step size between shots) * Click OK You ca...
