I found this medusa on a microscopical slide made by Schlüter & ...

The other one, is connected to the Siemens power supply with the plug you can see in the picture. This power supply ...

Hello Ceresio, thank you for sharing the pictures of your Axiomat. It is absolutely impressive, not only how you set it up, but I am also sure that you own every single option/accessory ever built for the Axiomat! Fantastic. Thank you for your compliments. During my time of pathological  enthu...

Hello Ceresio, I do not know what kind of adaptor your pictures show but it is surely not an original ZEISS made adaptor. I think it is "home built" by a precision mechanical workshop possibly using ZEISS mechanical and optical components. I´ll show you some different mounts of cameras I realized on...

Dear Klaus, Ortholux II and Metallux II are both the same microscope stands. In opposite to the Metallux I, which does not include the whole translucent optical path of the Ortholux I, the only difference between Ortholux II and Metallux II is the name plate. Typically a Metallux ist not provided fo...

Yes, indeed, the ZEISS PlanApo 40/1.0 Oil has an internal iris, same as the phase contrast version PlanApo 40/1.0 Oil PH3.

DIC ZEISS

Hi, the old ZEISS Apo 40/1,0 Oil CZO (Carl Zeiss Oberkochen) gives excellent result in combination with the older DIC with general main Prism above of the nosepiece and I know that there is a pretty good combination possible with one of the individual sliders of the new (last manufactured) DIC too. ...
