Feeling almost ready to leave beginners macro
Invested in a macro stand (free photo enlarger), 2 studio flashes, diffusing material and a macro rail. Results are getting better, although every second trial seems to go wrong. But falling is the best way to learn to walk :-). A moth I found on the window sill. Not capable to determine the species...

Little fly with skimming light.
After 3 years 2nd post. Been in financial assistence after bankruptcy employer, so no time and/or money for hobby. Now retired and ready for a fresh start. Found this little (3mm) fly dead on the gardentable while the sun was setting and noticed the shadow of the wing. Decided to try the same effect...

My first successful stack
Looking for a hobby after getting unemployed three years ago I stumbled upon this site. Finding some material in tnriftstores and experimenting with it, this is the first stack I'm happy with. Hi Looking for a hobby after getting unemployed three years ago I stumbled upon this site. Finding some material in thriftstores and experimenting with it, this is the first stack I'm happy with.
