Yea that's why I called it a hybrid reed. Its not full on synthetic like Légère's reeds but a combination of the two

First image was using normal transmitted light, converted to monochrome, and the second image used a combination of low level transmitted light and ambient light from the kitchen light

Approaching Jupiter

A cigarette paper at 40x. Normally I always crop to a square image, but I left this one circular.
Oh and I'm a non smoker. I use them for drying the pads on my clarinet and flute.
