A small colony of Vorticella.

A small, colorful group of Vorticella.
These colors are the result of playing with the knobs in DIC PZO.
Fresh water. The microscope is PZO Biolar

Another Rotifers.

Hello.

Some time ago I came across a small gathering of rotifers.

I didn't focus on any of them. It was more of a general observation. Something like a bird's eye view.

Testacea?

Welcome.

A rather long 3 minute excerpt from a larger whole.
In my opinion it is a shell amoeba(Testacea).
Fragments of its body show quite pronounced movement'

Amobea 3033

Hello
It's definitely some kind of amoeba.
The sample was taken from some puddle in the forest.
The video is a bit overexposed.
I sped up the amoeba's movement three times because it was very lazy and its actual movement was barely visible.

Microorganism 3019

Another unknown microorganism found in a drop of fresh water.
Oh, I have many such examples in my collection.

Ciliate 2990

Hello. Today I present my new old specimen. Found in a freshwater sample. I have few materials for identifying microorganisms and I couldn't recognize this one. For me it's an anonymous ciliate, but it's not a big problem. The most important thing for me is the possibility of observing and recording...

Something 3058.

Hello. I don't know what this microorganism is called. That's why the title of this video is so weird. Unfortunately, I don't have access to any reliable source describing microorganisms. And I don't want to mislead anyone. I suspect that there will be many more such titles in my videos.. Found in a...

Little Daphnia

Hello.

A young, just-hatched daphnia filmed using a PZO Biolar microscope.
A PZO DIC was also connected to the microscope
The colors obtained are the result of my playing with Polish DIC

Best regards

Heliozoa 3000

Hello.

Another quite old video.
Old enough that I don't remember any technical details.
So sorry about that.
The video shows some Heliozoa.
I really like these creatures because of their magical symmetry for me.

Best regards.

Microorganisms.

Hello

A fairly large group of microorganisms landed on my slide.
One of them was different and stood out in size.
I focused my attention on it.
I have the impression that the quality of this video is much worse than the original.

Młoda Daffnia 3227

Quite an old and long video (4 minutes). It shows a young, just hatched Daphnia.. I tried to capture the details of its structure as much as possible, but I guess without any special success. And the colors are the result of my playing with PZO DIC. The large object on the right is the parent organi...

Lezy Paramecium Leniwy pantofelek 2979

Hello. A rather old video showing my catch from the summer catch. It's a Paramecium.. Because most of the Paramecium I've seen so far were very mobile, and this one wasn't, that's why I called it lazy.. I didn't add any agents that would slow down the movement of microorganisms.. Maciej GioXa_Gas70

My Tardigrade 2935.

Well, I was inspired by a recent thread describing water bears. The author of the thread is Mr. Robert Berdan, whose knowledge and information I rate very highly. I have read a lot of published articles on his Canadian site. I decided to join in and present my video, the main character of which is T...

Closterium, Nowik 2987

Hello Today I present a rather nice Closterium. Nothing extraordinary. However, the interaction between Closterium and two small microorganisms was quite interesting. When I was a little boy, I saw in the port how small tugboats maneuvered a large ship.. I see some analogies here. Best regards Macie...
