Re: Rhingia campestris

"The Heineken fly is a common hoverfly found along hedgerows, in gardens and at woodland edges. Adults feed on the nectar of flowers like White Dead-nettle and Red Dead-nettle, and the larvae live and feed in animal dung." "Heineken refreshes the parts other beers cannot reach." - but that's the bee...

Re: Olympus NeoSplan 80 / 0.75 Ulwd

Re: meta equipment choices in 2021

Definitely will admit to having Gear Acquisition Syndrome  I understand what you're saying though - a high MP sensor will not necessarily make my images any better if I don't have good technique and lighting, and requires better optics and more storage / computing power. I decided to incre...

Re: meta equipment choices in 2021

You all said to go for more pixels - With respect, you have misread. If want to multiply your budget by 3 or many more, and spend a while getting everything else right, then perhaps spend more time peeping at pixels rather than producing useful images - the answer is yes. Go for the highest number ...

You need investment in a stable platform, unless you live in a mountain. Flash may kill vibrations but you can't always use it with...
