Thanks Mike, we have 3 different types on the pulmonaria flowers presently.
In addition to the Dark edged, there's a completely jet black furred, and a pale gold furred type that looks iridescent when the sun hits it.

I would like some help with this, please, but I keep getting a "Filesize exceeds limit" message.
The pixel size of my image is 1000 x 850, which should be OK.

Thanks for your reply............I haven't tried it in anger yet, I just put it on to see if it de-graded the image noticeably.
If it focuses reliably, it will be a useful combination.
The lens alone is tack-sharp.

According to the Nikon lens compatibility chart, the TC-14 E ll will work with the 105 VR macro, but without autofocus.

I just tried mine on for the first time, and the autofocus (and everything else) works fine.........
