I would like to thank all of you for your help. I finally got this lens mounted by using masking tape. This lens is incredible. I can see I need to build a dimmer switch for this lens. I am going to try to upload a photo. Wow is this lens revealing. Thank you all very much

linos lens 105mm F 5.6 need help

I was wondering if some one might know. If Rafe is still making attachment rings. This linos lens is 45.89mm in dia. Would some one here know where i can get a mount for this lens. Here is and image of the lens

Do you mean a focus stack that was shot by pulling focus while shooting a video? If so then yes, just extract a sequence of still frames from the video using Photoshop or some other utility such as ffmpeg, then feed the collection of still frames into Zerene Stacker as an ordinary stack. I agree with you lou. But the bellows he showed me lou. it had a rodentstock lens mounted on it. That rodentstock was even bigger than this lens. It has a large bolting plate. To attach the lens to this bellows. The bellows is huge. I think this might be for a large format camera. Have a great one

Cornel what i use is a pair of strap wrenches. They will not hurt the lens jacket. If you are interested go to a hardware store. Ask for a set of plumers rubber strap wrenches. rjlittlefield is correct. These objectives an the mitutoyo objectives. they are glued. I use a Q-tip to apply the solvent. I never use anymore solvent then what is needed to seperate the casings. hope this helps
