Re: Advices for enlarger lens

Hi Freak,
Just search for "step up/down ring 43mm" on ebay.com.
Then go over 52mm and M42 to Canon EF or M.

Re: mountain swallowtail

Hello Mike,

some pictures of my equipment:
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 589&type=3

To your question I would like to answer in this way,
that the resolution depends on the NA of the microscope objective.
So, the higher the NA, the better the resolution.

Re: 50X objective recommendation

Hi,
Wow - what kind of rail are you using to reach ~250 nm steps? That is closer to linear servo territory.
I use this one (home-made)

Re: 50X objective recommendation

Hi,
For the NA=0.65 the DOF=0,001302mm.
So, you will need the steps smaller than the DOF.
Usually I use the step-size=DOF/3 but for such NA the DOF/4 or DOF/5

Hi Rik,
I usually always combine Dmap with Pmax, but in this case there was nothing to take from PMax.
Most of the time I paint over the hair with Pmax.

Re: Mitutoyo QV Quick Vision Machine Teardown

Hello Robert,

Very interesting report!

I have already asked for the comparison between the QV 2.5 and the Mitu 5x:
https://www.photomacrography.net/forum/ ... 25&t=42880
but what would you recommend?

BTW, most of the items are produced in CN
