Re: Photo Stacking System
Modified coupling to fit plastic bush tapered bush so it is just a push fit. I found with the bolts every time I wanted to carry out a manual adjustment it had to be unbolted now it just a push fit.

Spend the day in the workshop building a motorised stacking system for the Olympus microscope using T-Slot aluminium and machining a coupling and mounting plate. The control will be via a Wemarco system. I am just waiting for the nylon clamping bolts to replace the stainless steel ones. 20210209_153...

Olympus BH-2 (BHS) LED Conversion
I was considering upgrading my Olympus BHS microscope to led. I found this unit on eBay, but was interested if anybody had done this and what are the advantages and disadvantages.
Are there any other units on the market?
Thanks
Phil

Stacking System
Just finished fitting a Trinamic stepper motor to my rig, controlled by Helicon remote software. I normally use a Wemacro rail, but at higher magnification 20x I find there is too much movement with the setup and this system seems to work better.
