Script Lichen part 2
Hi gang
Here are a few more shots of another Script Lichen individual.
This guy is very small and I wanted to explore how it is attached to the side of the rotting tree.

Re: Script Lichen
Josh For my Mitutoyo objectives, I use an Edmund Optics 200mm conversion lens with a drop-in filter holder. I use a Edmund Optics polarizer when needed to take glare off certain types of surfaces. The Edmund Optics assembly is connected to a Nikon PB-6 bellows which is attached to my Nikon D850. You...

Re: fly
Wow.
I am so impressed at this shot as the detail and crispness jumps out.
So, once you perform your ultra sonic cleaning, how do you keep the hairs from matting as the specimen dries?

Rodent damage
Gang A guy I work with said he heard noise in his attic and discovered damage in part of the eave covering. He brought it to me and asked if I could get a good close up shot to verify it was an animal involved. Well, here it is. The evidence is overwhelming. Look at the curved gouges and how the mat...

Shavings
Hi Gang I was working in the shop making some trim material out of Maple, and I noticed an interesting result during the “rip” operation. The Maple shavings were gathering like a town meeting at the edge of the blade insert. Upon inspection, I noticed the material was forming a cotton-ball type clus...

Rare Multiphot parts coming available
Hi everyone
I have the following Nikon Multiphot parts and will be coming available as soon as I can determine a price.
I thought as a first step is to see if anyone is interested.
I can only ship to US and will consider Canada, but import taxes and shipping on the items make it too expensive.

Pau/Rik Another surprise for you. I found the specimen on a neighbor's porch screen. The egg had already developed and broke out of the nest, as the back half is gone, so this poses two key points. The specimen is NOT in its original environment and I am using a small piece of thick watercolor paper...
