Re: Zerene- ERROR- Mismatching Image Size

Mystery solved for now.... Another user on the Photoshop website has just reported the same thing except that person did not crop. It appears that just making non-crop adjustments to one and then syncing that image changes the size of all the other images except for the source image - the images you...

Re: Zerene- ERROR- Mismatching Image Size

I'm still working on this. The problem with Lr is not export. It appears to be with the sync settings. If I make adjustments and include a crop and then sync them all to the end image, that one source image size is slightly different in size from the rest. Sometimes one pixel, other times two. Thank...

Re: Zerene- ERROR- Mismatching Image Size

Going direct from Lr to Zerene using your plug-in shows the same problem and I get that recurring error message. I can't click the "ignore" that image because it want to compare each image with the first, which is the problem image. I can delete that first image from within Zerene and it runs throug...

Re: Zerene- ERROR- Mismatching Image Size

That was helpful and revealing, Rik. I looked at 4 stacking projects both exported from Lr as TIFFs and JPGs into a temporary stacking folder. All first images in the stack were sized 8256x5504. All subsequent images were sized 8254x5504. So every first image exported was 2 pixels smaller on the lon...

Re: Zerene- ERROR- Mismatching Image Size

None of those issues from FAQs apply here. One key might be that it only seems to have problems with the first and second image files of each of the different stack projects I'm running. If I don't load the first (in focus) image in the project, Zerene has no problem running DMap and PMax. So why is...

Zerene- ERROR- Mismatching Image Size

I'm shooting a lot of studio white box 1:1 focus stack images of plant blooms. I'm using a Nkon D850 and the automated focus ring feature to capture the images. I upload to Lr, make any adjustments and find the first image in the stack that has something in focus. Usually it's just a very small part...

The LEDs are Aputure Amaran AL-528W LED Lights. I don't remember the exact shutter speed but I'm not sure that is important (other than if the subject moves from wilting or there is rig vibration). I set the D850 to wait a second or two and then start the stack capture sequence. The shutter opens an...

Right now I push "start" and sit and wait. But after I noticed how much things moved when I took a step I'm thinking there are other outside forces that could cause vibration - HVAC in the attic. I think I'll move things to the first floor next. Maybe try a different clamp (that is a good idea), but...

LED close-up rig and vibration

I just built this LED setup to shoot 1:4 to 1:1 with LED lights against pure white and pure black backgrounds. After the first test I added the Lume Cube for front fill light because the main light source from above was casting shadows below. My first real test was a poppy from our garden. After I c...

My new 1:1-1:4 LED studio rig

I made this to shoot mainly flower blooms I pick from my garden, inside with either a pure white or pure black background. I'm using the Nikon D850 ability to capture focus stacks using lens focusing. Then I move the images to Lightroom, do some stuff to one, copy to all the others, then export to Z...

Chris - Yeah, that probably looks wrong with the limited info I supplied. I'm on a sturdy tripod with Stackshot and camera pointed into a white box with diffused flashes. I use the white box for some plant specimens brought inside. I usually shoot 1:1 up to 1:4 using my 105mm macro. No problems with...

Yes, you are right, Rik. If the stacking box is checked it creates the conflict with Zerene but only if CMN is launched first. By unchecking the "Use Stackshot" box it doesn't matter if CMN is launched before or after Zerene. So, that is the answer. If Zerene takes control first and then you launch ...

Zerene control of Stackshot with studio white box and flash

I would appreciate a critique of my setup for Stackshot and Zerene control. Key Nikon D850 settings: • Manual exposure, manual focus • 1/200 sec @ f11 • Mirror lock up • Rear curtain sync Stackshot Controller configuration in ZS dialog box • Settling time 3 seconds • Shutter pulse time 0.6 seconds •...

Okay, Rik, I'll do that. Thanksgiving might slow me down a little but I'll get back to you.
