Conus traillii and Engina armillata
This was shot with my Wild Heerbrugg M400 Makrozoom using the 1:6 APOzoom and an old Panasonic GH3. The Engina armillata looks like it had a rough life. ...

Re: Calcite
Hey Chris,
Thanks, I like the first shot too. Yep, you nailed it. They are my favorite scopes, for sure. I can't believe how long it took me to get these working.

Re: Made a quick-change objective system for my bellows
Interesting project. I have an old Pentax 6x7 bellow, but I haven't figured out what to do with it yet. Robert OToole and I were discussing this a few weeks ago. Calcite
I've been working on my Polyvar MET and Polylite SC for a little over three years, trying to get everything working. It seems like every time I would fix something, another issue popped up. Crazy. I've also succeeded in adapting my camera setup to each microscope, and they are both parfocal. Many of...

Re: Loss of Robert OToole
Wow, I'm totally blown away. What happened? We've corresponded a ton over the years. Robert was always generous and helpful. He told me he was super healthy. Had been on the Carnivore diet for a few years, Ketosis was excellent, his Glucose Ketone Index was scary good, and so on.
