Olympus PE 2.5x photo eyepiece
Canon 50D

This installment shows some of the many amoebas found in the tank. Top image is most likely Mayorella with two unknown companions.  The middle image has three different species. The top one is a amoeba with a test?, the middle I believe is Vannella and lowest maybe Polytoma.  I was able to see at least one flagella.  The bottom image may be Mayorella again but may be Naegleria. It always maintained an narrow elongated shape. I would be happy to get any identifications from our knowledgeable forum.

Walter,

Looks like quite a menagerie you've got going there. Where in you fish tank are you finding most of these critters?

Hi Charles. These subjects have been found in and amongst rooted plants in the tank that have decaying leaves. There are many more to come.
