First post here and i thought id share some springtails shots from the last few months. all shot with the MP-E 65 above x4 and focus stacked.

One thing about your BBCode tags... To make the images act like links, you need a slightly different format for the tags. Drop the quotes and be sure there's no newline inside the tags. I have edited your post to fix the first one. You can edit the others yourself if you want. (Just click the Edit button, then you can see what I did and make the others look the same.)

I love this creatures. This globular ones are so cute. I photographed them one or two times. But I did not find them since then, only the long ones.
Nice picutres.
How many pictures per stack?

The globular ones mostly live on plant foliage, some on the surface of fresh water, others amongst leaf litter.

As unfortunate in appearance as they are, springtails are quite colorful little critters. Beautiful shots Alliec, welcome aboard by the way. :D
