DOF

I have sigma 150 mm macro and a canon 7d. Is there a DOF-table somewhere for this setup? I find it extremely time-consuming testing my way to acceptable results for different objects.

John, welcome to the forum! :D

Please have a look at a recent thread, "DOF table for Canon 100mm macro". You can safely ignore the fact that your lens has a focal length of 150mm, while the lens discussed in that thread has a 100mm focal length.

If after reading that thread, you have questions, ask away!

John, glad it worked for you! :D Rik's tables are an excellent resource.

Again, please feel free to ask questions if and when helpful.

Cheers, :D

That worked excellent!

I managed to get at least 2 values correct on my own according to the table :-)

Can I use the same table with canon's mpe-65?

Yes, table 2-A (at https://zerenesystems.com/cms/stacker/d ... romicrodof).
