I've been really getting into the macro side of things, and looking for things that I can set up and photograph. This one is an old hard drive that I took the cover off, and the mechanical structure is the arm that reads the data from the disk. Actually there are two disks and two arms in the image, but the top arm is actially the arm and it's own reflection off the disc. Pentax K3, 28 - 80 zoom in macro mode, 45 mm extension tubes, +10 and +4 diopter magnifying lenses. Lighting by LED desk lanp and LED ring light. Next step is to go back and take multiple images and stack them
