Thanks. This was a fairly large specimen. One thing I noticed was the way it does its math. There is a central cell, then a ring of five cells and a ring of ten cells.
The source is a privately owned lake that charges people to fish there (so they don't need a state fishing license). Many species of spirogyra, abundant Pediastrum, not too many desmids or diatoms.
