Hi,

I am not sure if I can post questions related to my lens.

I brought a new lens and took some images to test but I cannot decide if this lens is a good lens or not. Could you please share your expertise if I can hold this lens back or should get a new copy of this lens as this is causing some issues please find my images here

I suppose you're referring to inconsistent autofocus, are you?
Otherwise the pictures look fine.

It's difficult to make a statement just looking at the pictures, there are many factors involved like the camera, focus point selected, user taking style...

Some points to check and test:

- do you use only the central focus point? If you rely at the camera judgment it can decide by itself to focus at an undesired point.

- Some cameras have a a fine focus tuning feature more or less hidden at the menu to match the lens and body

- In some cameras the metering point and focusing point can be set together so if you half press the shutter button it can lock focus at the point where you're measuring the light....
