Crane Fly - 28mm Schneider Kreuznach Componon - Test

Post by Smokedaddy »

Just a test image using the adapter I machined in place of my MM-11 nosepiece and the 28mm Schneider Kreuznach Componon. Looks like the 28mm SKC has some potential. This is at 5x. I think this was a 25% crop.

Very nice, JW!

Is that 5x on sensor magnification?

How did you adapt your 28mm SKC to MM-11?
I have a Schneider Componon S 50mm F/2.8 and a Nikon focus block. I adapted it (reversedly) for up to 2x on sensor magnification (for over 2x, I used microscope objectives): http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/v ... r+componon

... 4.9x on sensor, I just rounded it to 5x. Pics of the adapter are at the end of this thread.
