That's neat. Do you have a UV block between phone and shells, or is it just a straight shot?

Just a UV-pass on the torches.
The phone is fairly responsive to UV so I'll try again with a filter over the phone, to get a uv-light-only image. It might be too dim for a phone.

I've been bothered about the reason for so many things appearing to be "about the right colour" when exposed to UV.
Sometimes it could be due to a very thin layer of something (like limescale) which emits a broad spectrum, whitish light, which illuminates the substrate.
