Big Fluffy Dandelions

Post by Ken Ramos »

Big bright yellow and fluffy Dandelions, measureing almost two and one half inches across, are now making their appearance on the lawn at the facility where I work. Somehow I just could not pass them up, without taking at least one photograph. :D

Seems as though Dandelions are an overlooked edible. I have read as to where they have been used in salads or cooked like a variety of other leafy greens. Wine is another product made from them, however I have never indulged in such. Though a fruit jar of homemade Muscadine wine is very much enjoyable (hic! )

Thanks Jordan :D

Well at the moment, flowers are about all that there is. Though I am looking forward to the floral displays at the Asheville Arboretum here shortly. :D

Thanks Jim :D
